Dell Rapids wrestlers were in Garretson Thursday for the Garretson Triangular, which also included the O’Gorman Knights’ wrestling team.

Against Garretson, Dell Rapids lost a close contest 39-37.

Earning wins via pin for the Quarriers against the Blue Dragons were Ryan Nichols at 145 pounds, Tyler Gee at 152 pounds and Leon Maxwell at 285 pounds.

Dell Rapids’ Phillip Schwebach and Trevor Peter won by forfeit and Jackson Entringer won his match 8-0.

Against O’Gorman, the Quarriers’ wrestling team won 52-29.

Earning wins via pin against the Knights were Jacob Ottoson at 106 pounds, James Lueders at 113 pounds, Schwebach at 160 pounds, Entringer at 182 pounds and Maxwell at 220 pounds.

Nichols, Gee, Riley Miller and Trevor Peter also earned the Quarriers points, either by decision victories or forfeit.

Nichols, Gee, Schwebach, Miller, Entringer, Peter and Maxwell were all undefeated at the triangular.
